After a tough year, it gave us so much joy to see these photos of Louis and LaShauna’s spectacular summer wedding! We’re so thankful that they chose the Crystal Ballroom at the Radisson Freehold NJ as the perfect venue for their creative vision. We’re also so glad that they chose one of our favorite NJ photographers to capture the spirit of this event. We just had to interview Ashley Meyer from The Meyer Photo + Video Group to learn more about the alchemy behind this enchanting summer wedding. Here’s what she shared with us…

“I had the honor of meeting Bride La’Shauna at a bridal show two years ago and immediately bonded over getting married at the same location. I was lucky enough to secure a Raddison wedding date for my own wedding back in 2012,” said Meyer Photo + Video Group owner, Ashley Meyer. “Within weeks we have created a custom package for the couple, sent an engagement gift, and started the planning!”

“The Crystal Ballroom’s ceremony space was transformed into the most beautiful outdoor space I have ever seen in my years of doing weddings. White trees lined the reflective glass aisle with custom greenery brought in to close in the sides with personalized written messages. The couple even decorated the fountain with giant paper flowers and put a custom magazine on each white chair. It was such an immersive experience the second guests walked through the golden gate and saw where they were about to see the couple marry. It was surreal. I saw several guests take selfies in the area for quite some time after the ceremony to soak in how beautiful it was while they dined on the delicious cocktail hour food.”

“We knew it was important to capture photos of memorials dedicated to the bride’s mother who has passed away. La’Shauna had a beautiful chair at the reception with her mother’s photo in her honor. There were also photos of other loved ones with lit candles. It also was important to the couple to see their guests’ reactions to the two massive robot entertainers and since we provide photo and video simultaneously, our team easily coordinated who would cover what part of each room to make sure everything was captured. The guests went wild and because the Crystal Ballroom is so spacious, everyone could dance and take photos with the entertainers comfortably, which made for incredible photos and footage.”
